Addressees: all those who act, operate and collaborate in any capacity with YOUBUYME.COM Srl (employees, consultants, suppliers, sales partners and third parties in general) and who find themselves having to deal with situations that require the adoption of conduct that is relevant from various points of view, the most important of which are ethical and legal.


Foreword and Mission

YOUBUYME was born from the idea of revolutionising the online shopping experience, bringing human interaction and customer focus back to the centre. We believe that technology should be at the service of people, giving them back the pleasure of shopping with someone who truly cares about their needs. At YOUBUYME, every purchase is a tailor-made journey. Our mission is to offer an online shopping experience that is human, simple and rewarding. We want every interaction on YOUBUYME to be authentic, professional and enriching, where technology works at the service of people, making the shopping process smooth and enjoyable.
Our behaviour is inspired by a Code of Ethics that all those who have relations with ‘YOUBUYME’ are called upon to apply consistently and responsibly.


Fundamental ethical values

YOUBUYME' considers the following as fundamental values on the basis of which it organises and manages its business and pursues the success of its entrepreneurial initiatives: the courage to look at things from different perspectives, respect for the individual, excellence aimed at continuous improvement, a continuous spirit of evolution.
For the purposes of this Code of Ethics, the general principles of conduct to which each Addressee must inspire his or her conduct in the performance of his or her duties are:


Legality and honesty

YOUBUYME' recognises respect for the laws and regulations in force in Italy and in the other countries in which it operates as a fundamental principle. Addressees, in the performance of their duties and in the exercise of their respective activities, are required to comply with all the rules of the legal systems in which they operate. To this end, their conduct is strictly bound, in the decision-making and implementation stages, to full compliance with all applicable national and international rules, with the regulations defined by the Supervisory Authorities as well as with internal procedures. In no case may the pursuit of the Company's interests justify conduct contrary to the principles of fairness, honesty and legality.


Protection of and respect for the person and human rights

YOUBUYME' respects people's fundamental rights, protects their physical and moral integrity and guarantees equal opportunities for all. YOUBUYME' rejects all forms of violence and discrimination, especially those based on factors such as gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, political opinions, religious beliefs, ethnic and geographic origin, social and cultural conditions. It rejects and opposes all forms of harassing behaviour and behaviour detrimental to personal dignity in the workplace and promotes a safe, serene and favourable working environment for interpersonal relations on a level of equality, mutual fairness and respect.


Integrity

Activities are managed with the utmost professional and ethical commitment, preventing and avoiding any situation in which possible conflicts of interest might arise and ensuring that conduct is always marked by moral integrity, transparency and the values of honesty, fairness and good faith. Relations between Addressees, at all levels, are marked by criteria of fairness, loyalty and mutual respect, avoiding conduct that could unduly take advantage of positions of disadvantage to third parties and acting in good faith in all activities and decisions.
No insulting, defamatory, denigrating or threatening behaviour towards anyone is tolerated in the context of the activity performed and in the relations entertained with the various stakeholders. The Company believes that anyone who collaborates in any capacity whatsoever must display irreproachable conduct in the performance of their duties, constantly promoting a strong sense of integrity, a spirit of collaboration, trust, mutual respect, cohesion and team spirit in order to systematically protect and improve the company climate and the image and prestige of ‘YOUBUYME’.
It is categorically forbidden to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Recipients of this Code of Ethics are required to scrupulously comply with the laws and regulations in force regarding privacy, working to eliminate or in any case reduce to a minimum the risks of dispersion, unauthorised access or unlawful processing of the data of which ‘YOUBUYME’ is the owner and for which its sales partners are responsible.
Any use, communication or disclosure of confidential information or news of which the Addressees may have become aware due to or in connection with their relationship with the Company is strictly forbidden. Knowledge developed by YOUBUYME is the exclusive property of YOUBUYME and, as such, must be considered strictly confidential and covered by confidentiality. With the sole exception of what is provided for in this regard by current legislation and by any specific contractual agreements, all Addressees are therefore bound not to disclose to third parties any technical, commercial and organisational aspects of the Company.


Transparency

In all relations (business, commercial, institutional, etc.) entertained with the Company or on its behalf, clear, complete, timely and truthful information is guaranteed. In order to guarantee the accuracy, genuineness, correctness and transparency of the information provided, Addressees must refrain from disclosing facts and/or false news concerning the Company or the products of the sales partners active on the platform. The disclosure of false news is strictly forbidden.


Prudence

The activities are managed with full awareness of the risks and with the objective of their sound management; this takes the form of prudent behaviour, especially when damage to persons and property may result from one's actions and decisions. The use of the tools made available by the Company must, therefore, take place in the strictest compliance with the reference legislation in force and the relevant internal operating procedures and provisions.


Trust and sharing

The Company firmly believes in the possibility of establishing effective business relations only if profound trust is established between the parties, including through the sharing of information, experience and professional skills both within the Company and, where appropriate, externally. The Company is committed to ensuring that there is a serene working environment in which everyone can work in full respect of the laws, principles and shared ethical values. The Company sees to it that its employees and collaborators behave and are treated with dignity and respect within the framework of the provisions of the laws of our legal system and amendments thereto.
Offensive behaviour of any kind that is explicitly or implicitly detrimental to any interlocutor inside or outside the Company is in no way tolerated.


Customer orientation

Putting the customer at the centre is one of the main inspiring principles of ‘YOUBUYME’ and is expressed in the ability to understand the market within which the company operates, considering the impact on customers of every action and behaviour. For all collaborators in various capacities, it is fundamental to take advantage of all the opportunities that arise in the work in the interest of the customer, anticipating their needs. The establishment of a lasting relationship of collaboration and service towards the customer is one of the main aims of the Company, which wants to be perceived by the customer as a serious, reliable and competent point of reference.
